I guess I'm posting in this section now?

Well not exclusively lol. This section is kind of dead anyway. But putting the DOHC Cobra motor into my GT will be a cool project (I think) and the 96-98 style that I'm using is (IMO) the best looking motor Ford put into the 94-04 cars.

Theyll be in my build thread probably.

Combo I've got roughed out on paper is:

-Freshened Teksid block .010 or .020 over
-Stock B heads off a 97 Cobra, decked with a valvejob and 95lb springs
-Stock 96-98 F6ZE cams from a Cobra
-Stock 96-98 Cobra intake
-Cast crank
-MMR I beams
-Manley Street Master Pistons
-EV6 mist pattern injectors
-62mm BBK TB
-PAS Slot MAF
-FRPP Shorties
-VRS X
-Bassanni Catback
-3.73s
-Tri-Ax
-Stock Steeda Suspension system that came with the car
-Novi 2000 Supercharger
-CX Racing Intercooler system
-Stock low mileage T45 transmission

Change I MIGHT make is an OEM Cobra/Mach forged crank if I can find one for a reasonable price. But cast will turn 7200 and be fine up to 700hp and I have 3 of them to choose from so...

Hoping to do 500 to start with and enjoy and then turn it up to 600+ when I get a trans that can hold it.

I have so little into this ride comparatively right now and everything is PnP. I have a ton of **** to sell still and recoup a bunch of money so I should not be out hardly any more $$$ to finish this once its all gone.

I actually priced it all out plus a Coyote swap. I legit paid so little for all my 4V stuff and the supercharger I have might as well have been free. I honestly don't think a LSX would be cheaper for me to do and I hate ****ing with wiring.

I know the revised heads would be better. But revised heads are $$$ for good cores. B heads are pretty much free and they perform beautifully with a centri or a turbo. I have 3 sets right now for about $100. Will probably sell off the Mark ones and stockpile 2 or 3 sets of real Cobra or 97/98 Mark cores tho and a few spare sets of intake cams when this is all done.

I am going to shoot for 11:1 on 93 octane pump gas with a good tune and the supercharger pushing moderate boost through an intercooler. Not sure exactly how much yet. This is going to be a motor that is mild down low but goes like a raped ape when you get on it. Which is what I want.

Like I said power goals are to be right on the safe edge of the stock transmission at 500rwhp and then later on upgrade to a 600-700hp capable trans and kick up the boost. I will not need more than that on NJ roads... nor want more than that on NJ roads. With a 7200 redline or therabouts.

Lol hell no I can get an OEM one in great shape for way less... or my free cast ones.

I need to find another deal like 2 years ago when I found a Teksid and OEM forged crank for $250... that was a DAMN good deal. Sold it all for double that when I sold the blue car... really should have kept it dammit.
