Clutch problems???

Today I was out cruising around town taking it nice and easy because of all the road construction going on anyway I stopped at a stop sign went to pull out as soon as I lifted off of the clutch pedel to give it gas the clutch went right to the floor and stayed there so I had it towed to a local shop won't hear anything till tomorrow but what are your guys thoughts blown clutch, throw out bearing , broken cable? 1996 mustang cobra

Hope so it has an adjustable cable from steeda that the previous owner installed and from what I hear all the aftermarket adjustable cables are no good

Shop never called I went there they were closed but the car was outside so I looked under the dash sure enouph cable snapped

The positive is that you know it is something simple. A bill for towing sucks though.

The last time I had it towed for the fuel pump it was only $50 not to bad
