HEADLIGHT ISSUES

I just bought my 98 gt convertible. It is in the body shop right now getting the quater panel fixed and a new paint job(thank god for friends who have body shops). I was looking at the headlights and they look old and scratched. They are hid with the halo's, i dont know what they are called. My question is can i replace the lenses without having to buy a whole new kit? Thanks for any suggestions.

Re: HEADLIGHT ISSUES

Probably have to see a picture to tell you anything.

Factory headlights are 2 piece units on each side. If it's just surface scratches and hazing you should be able to wet sand the lense and hit them with rubbing compound.

Re: HEADLIGHT ISSUES

They are after market lights, they are one piece projection with blue halo's around the beams. I have seen the headlights online but i dont need the bulbs or the control pack just the lenses or housing.
