Pypes bomb axle backs and ksport springs

Someone is selling this slightly used for 300 bucks...they said the Pypes are too loud and car sat too low...is this a good buy? Any concerns for these aftermarket parts with very low miles?

Re: Pypes bomb axle backs and ksport springs

I like the way Mustang's look a little lower but as long as they are not slamed to the ground. I think the sport springs are a mild lower stance.
I have no clue about pypes products to be honest. I know they have some cheep prices all over the place listed. I would almost do a search how much these are new first and make a low ball offer on them if you can.

Pypes Performance Exhaust - 2005-11 MUSTANG SYSTEMS

At $259.00 brand new ........hell no. I would offer $175. There are several systems you can get brand new for a little over his asking price. If you are talking about the FRPP k springs then that is a 1.5 drop on front and rear. I had them on my 07 ( check my pics if you wanna get a idea how the sit) and will be ordering them for the 2011 next week.

If its $300 for everything that that's a deal,go for it!

The Pypes bomb axle backs are new...he put them on and took them off same day because they were too loud for his taste. Same with the k sport springs (1.5 In front, and 2 in back). I'm meeting him tomorrow...300 cash. Any idea what I could sell the stock mufflers and springs for?

Re: Pypes bomb axle backs and ksport springs

I would say yea you can do them yourself. Just take your time getting the tail pipe sections nice and stright out the back. I cant stand seeing people have their tail pipes looking all crooked out the back. Also the higher up you can get the car safely up will make it a bit easier on you with the mounting of it.

yea always look for new price then consider condition and the fact that its used to decide on a good asking price, take in the desperation to sell as a factor on how much to ask as well

Should I be concerned about the spring install? Are just the springs okay? Will they mess up the car? I'm not an aggressive driver but want to make sure I don't hurt anything on the car..

Re: Pypes bomb axle backs and ksport springs

You will be fine. It will shift the rear end slightly when lowered meaning one tire will stick out futher than the other. Its not noticeable unless you point it out to someone and won't hurt anything. A adjustable panhard bar will fix that if its that big of a deal. Caster camber plates for the front if you need them which can run $300 but I would suggest getting some camber bolts instead. They are cheaper and will get the job done.

Learning as I go. Thanks for all the info!

Everything installed! The Pypes are awesomely loud...but reasonable on the highway. The springs are great...exactly how I thought they would look.

I don't have a reason to keep the stock mufflers and springs...they are all in real good shape though. Any idea on a fair price to list on craigs list? I was thinking 100 bucks for everything...

Re: Pypes bomb axle backs and ksport springs

Sell the springs, keep the stock mufflers. If you ever trade in or sell you can put them back on and sell the aftermarket mufflers for some extra coin to start the mods on your new ride.
