Re: Lambo door kit

Its a mustang don't do it. If you do still want to do it trade it for a civic or a 240sx. Maybe a Camaro.

The reason I'm doing it is because I'm putting on a cobra r spoiler, that along with the Lambo doors would look exotic but would still have the more modern 01 gt body, now I would never think about the kit if it was an earlier mustang muscle model like a 60's or so

Re: Lambo door kit

Putting Lambo doors is not going to make it look exotic. Its still a 2001 mustang GT that you know have a Cobra R spoiler one. Which unless you have a Cobra R is one the ugliest spoilers there is. And to beat it all you add Lambo doors to it.

No but when u use it every day the hinge gets worn n the door starts to sag under all the weight n then does more damage to everything around the door

Ok all of this is inappropriate. On the forums we aren't supposed to call each other names, especially "gay" or whatever. I'm cleaning up this thread and closing it if I have to. Opinions are welcome but keep it tactful. Thanks.

There are no other words that you could use instead that are a little more forgiving? Lol

That's the first thing that came to my head when I though "lambo doors n Mustang" in the same sentence

Re: Lambo door kit

I would say it's not a good deal. $900 for something you will regret in 3 months is a little steep.

Not being a dick as you say. Just stating facts. There is nothing your going to do to make a "mustang" exotic but get rid of it and get a exotic car. A NSX would be a good exotic car as they didn't make that many of them. They where fast in there time. Out handled even higher end car in there time.

If you have an Inside Garage, you could have big problems with those doors.

Re: Lambo door kit

I think suicide doors would be hot on a mustang as long as you don't need the back seat any body ever see a stang with suicide doors?

Re: Lambo door kit

If you do them. Install will be the biggest factor. Go to a place that has experience doing it. Also make sure if you use poppers they use some of the best ones. We have a lot of Chargers that have these doors. One guy has to buy new poppers like every month cause he uses cheap ones.
Here one local guys.

Lambo doors are not very practical in the real world my advice would be don't do it but if that is what you want good luck with them.
