They certainly help brighten the road for you. They also piss people off when your driving behind them at night lol. I'm thinking about getting the bright ones. Don't really like the really blue ones unless I had a white or blue car.

Got them on my car, love them. They really light up the road at night and cut through fog and rain better due to the projection beam. Plus, they look awesome.

That is a really low price for HIDs. They usually are over $200. What brand did you get?

You can get some good ones for $65 off ddmtuning.com. I've had mine on for about a year now and they haven't given me problems.

I couldn't tell you the brand, I don't have the box in front of me, but I ordered em at Carquest.
I'm thinking it's my headlight, should the stock assembly's work ok with them?

I bought mine off a friend, who bought them off eBay. By far the best $30 I've spent on my car lol. 9k hids, a Turtle Wax headlight restoration kit, and I'll put them on every car I own. Hids definitely improve your night driving, lights up the road and signs much better in all types of weather. And you can't forget the sweet look! I'm looking forward to buying a set of smoked projector headlights from either eBay or AM.

there is a difference in being harsh and being truthful...no need to take the offensive on such a paltry topic

I was told they were 9k, not 100% for sure tho. Never had an issue with these, and don't ever plan on going back to regular bulbs. Hid is the way to go for sure.

When it's wet, there not as great. I always treat my windows with Rain-X so it usually never bothers me.

clean car btw.

your color temp wont be on the ballast...in fact they are rarely anywhere on the kit since bulbs are interchangable..

Pics of the lights as well, just to see if you'd know or not. You should post pics of your Stang up to your profile

I like the 04 stand okay, body wise, but I think they flopped on the interior.
I just don't like all of the curves.
don't get me wrong, I'm not dissing em, its a stang, therefore its sexy, I mean I own a 2004, but I LOVE my 2005.
I wouldn't trade it for anything., well short of a '69 charger r/t with a 440

I also have a hid kit that my sisters boyfriend bought off eBay for 30 bucks and just gave it to me! I get so many compliments on it and I love driving with them at night and having so many more people look at my car and wonder what kinda car it is! The only bad part Is alot of people flash there brights at me cuz there so bright cuz it's in the stander housing and in Minnesota that's illegal so I usually turn down side streets if I see a cop at night
