Removing stripes, plasti dipping the whole car

Ok, So I have determined that instead of trying to make the flat black and blue and gloss black all tie together, I am going to do the entire car in flat black and go reverse permanent marker with it. I have always been a fan of the artistic side of things and I sat up for a few hours tonight playing around with the idea, and what I would do, and whatnot. So I found that the Silver Paint Pens work the best, and I will basically be doing this, but flat black as the canvas, then the Silver as the marker. If all turns out well I will most likely Have the car clear coated, and if they dont turn out well... gotta love plasti dip, just peel the **** right off lol. I will have my trunk done as the test piece by friday afternoon.

and for anyone who wants to save money on stripes, plastidip them. Mine lasted through 2 heavy washes, about 5 days of rain, 4 days of frost, and temps from 30 to 65. Still looks like the day I put them on.

well heres the idea, I know a LOT of you will probably be against the style of this, but I am a huge art nut, I am sure a couple of you here will attest to that lol, but without further ado, my fav couple of Permanent Marker Cars

So ps to daaaaaan lol let me know what all we can do for the part swapping So I know which parts to touch and not touch.

That's actually pretty cool man. Are you planning to do all the drawings yourself?

I did not know that stuff was drawn on, I would have thought it was a wrap. Pretty cool looking, like a tattoo for a car. Do you have a theme in mind or going to just let it flow?

Re: Removing stripes, plasti dipping the whole car

It is going to take a TON of markers, but at the same time, I need to make sure I take my time with the plastidip stage so that way I can give myself enough layer to draw on without having to worry about pressing through

Yes I will draw everything myself free hand.

and I know I know darlin haha I talked about doing the stripes, but I will leave the AS 1.0 to be built on the 2014 only you know what im talking about haha

And thats the goal, I want it to be a piece people will just have to walk by at shows, whether they like it or not, they will want to take a peek haha.

Not my cup often but those definitely look sick. What theme are you going for?

Oh btw Josh,
instead if silver, maybe you could do the marker in metallic blue?
Would match things better

Re: Removing stripes, plasti dipping the whole car

One step ahead of ya chica if you look close at the Lambo, do you notice how there is white on top of the permanent marker? I am going to do blue accents across the car in various spots. I will have to show you my grand scheme of things tonight. Your going to be so shocked!
