Has anyone else had to deal with peeling clearcoat and what did you do before plasticoating your car? Do I need to get my sander out and sand it down? I have some other imperfections that I think will show still if I plasticoat the car. I've got terrible clearcoat loss and along the drivers side it's actually peeling. Never seen the peeling before and one person suggested that perhaps the previous owner attempted to fix the loss of clearcoat by spraying on a coat of clearcoat and did a lousy job prepping the surface.
