Good morning J&T, now get your butt up and get to work!

Btw, burn notice marathon on a couple days ago? Yup, you know it, sat there the entire. Freaking. Day. But now I'm pretty sure if I'm ever broke I can make some good money.... ha!

I've been told by several people I look like the main character of Burn Notice.

I wish i had the time to paint my car :/ Its obvious youve put alot of planning into your work, and it really shows once you put it on your car, i cant wait to see what you have in store next!

On another note, just installed my headlights today and it really completes the package with my stripes, now i just need my grille delete and the front end will be done!

I'm picking up a can of this tomorrow, not sure for what yet, but I'm sure I'll find something. I just want to make sure though, when peeled off if I don't like it or whatever it peels right off? No residue or hard marks left over? Thinking about doing my grill white since I seen a 10+ with that done and it actually looked hot and maybe the decklid black and a few other things

Check out my pictures. The trunk pics I used plasti dip. That's the black color. I used some in the engine compartment, too. Not on the body though.

Re: How To: Plasti Dip Your Car (In Depth, 6 pages worth of Microsoft Word)

you know what, it probably serves as a double edged sword... it will make you want to vomit, but when you do, it will come out like a plastic trash bag, thus catching said vomit... win win!

ok here are a coupe teaser pics during the drying phase from earlier

and the play wheel that I started to give you guys an idea of the permanent marker effect once i get done with the stripes... the lips of the wheels and the striped will be done in permanent marker, and white out pen.

I've always wanted todo the permanent marker effect to a car in some way ever since seeing that Lamborghini that did it. I always draw designs like that when I'm bored.. Those rims are gonna look absolutely amazing. Exactly what I've always wanted to see.

Your car is absolutely beautiful, im jealous! On another note, put some shoes on for christs sake, its the middle of (albeit a very warm) winter!

Ill try to have some pics up later, ive gotta take my dog to the vet. She's having a hard time moving after the plasti dip dried up, but man does her coat look good.

Re: How To: Plasti Dip Your Car (In Depth, 6 pages worth of Microsoft Word)

shoes.. pssssh shoes are over rated

heated garage, floors and all. When they pour the cement for the garage, pay the guys on the side to run some piping before they pour and you run hot water through to heat the floor. Best investment for the average garage guy/gal

Just to give an idea of what its like.

Now i know why youre doing such a good job with this, its because your name is Josh, and everyone knows people named Josh always do a good job with something they wanna do. Of course i may be biased. Just a question, how many cans of plasti dip have you gone thru?

Re: How To: Plasti Dip Your Car (In Depth, 6 pages worth of Microsoft Word)

so far... i have used 8 cans of dip. with everything all said and done, I am not expecting to spend more than 200 for the following

P-Dip
Tape
Paper
Perm Markers
Flat White Paint

and plans to draw on it I am shooting for next week. I want to have it dipped by tonight, and striped by friday night.
