Re: How To: Plasti Dip Your Car (In Depth, 6 pages worth of Microsoft Word)

I have a convertible stang. I want to matte my car with dip, but I'm concerned about the soft top. It's been beaten to crap and there are a few leaks here and there and I think the dip would fix it, but I don't know if dropping the top would damage the dip. What do you think?

Man at first I was like WTF is he doing to that poor car. But you have 110% respect. That is the most original thing I have seen on a Mustang is a long time. Outstanding job.

I believe he already sold the hood. He got in trouble with the city (I said bull****) and had to strip the car.

Plasti dipping is hard bt worth it afterwards. When my mustang was my brother's i helped him out to plasti dip the mustang and i gotta say that it was difficult and hard but worth it after the job was done. Ever since then the mustang has gotten a lot of compliments. I recommend to plasti dip your mustang the way you want. Just make sure to cover up around the place/thing you want to plasti dip.

It's cheap to buy the plasti dip cans and do it yourself. We plasti-dipped the gas lever and the two ponies on the sides by the doors and a part of the hood. Then we bought some decals for the back were the license plate is and also the Mustang letters and the lower part under the letters. It looks great specially since the mustang is loud. Ppl say its pretty cool looking and that it sorta looks like a bandit from the back. We also wired the tail lights to make the signal lights point to the direction that your going to turn too. But anyways. Its cheaper to buy the plasti-dip cans in an autozone or places that sell car stuff instead of ordering them from a website.

How To: Plasti Dip Your Car (In Depth, 6 pages worth of Microsoft Word)

Frankie, when dipping an entire car, it is not cheaper to buy cans from autozone. Actually I'm pretty sure it's cheaper to buy the wheel package from the website than it is o buy 4 cans of it from autozone as well
