Ok so here's another one I'm throwing out. I have only see this in tattoos...not sure if u could graffiti it especially with sharpie. But here it is, what if u made it look like an area of ur paint is tearing, and an American flag under it. After all what's more American then a mustang

Hey topless, someone posted a thread about Plasti-Dipping brake calipers and got me to thinking.. How will what your doing hold up in hot sun light being black and all? Also what about the extreme cold and rain? Saw you post about going to mustang week and thought these things may be a concern?

Glad you asked. I saw the post as well and with something as hot as brakes I would advise against it.

I started off just doing the hood and wanted a test phase. Here are all the things the 'Dip has held up against

- 75 degrees and sunny for a full day
- rain
- snow
- frost
- 1/8" sheet of ice
- high winds
- and a 2 hour drive with the engine heat coming out from the functional hood scoop when the car sat idling for 20 mins after that drive.

All in all the stuff is extremely durable. I just do not seeing something as a brake caliper being worth the hassle. I have heard rumors about people having them melt off onto the rotor and just not being a fun outcome. With something like that I would keep it high heat paint.

So, I know it's kinda late in the thread but I was wondering if you still might have a little space left for something I sketched out. It's an old logo from my favorite band, Rise Against, along with my username.
Hope you can do something with it, I'd be honored.
