Plasti-Dip Pictures

I'm curious about this craze. Can people just post some pictures of what they've done with plasti dip?

Dipped badges, chrome ring arpund ford badge and the front pony. Also dipped my shaker hood. Its a little faded from the sun. The plasti.dip finish is almost thw same and I don't have to keep re applying stuff to it.

You just peel it off like a sticker. It can be had at Lowes and homedepot and various dealers online.

Mask off what you don't want sprayed, spray a even heavy coat, pull off tape. Real easy...

Red dipped hood stripes. Shaker is also dipped black to protect it and to get an even finish on it.

Wow, those stripes look sick! Time to look into colors. Dipped my pony last weekend, doing wheels and rings around my fogs next. Sorry for the crappy pic. Will do better this weekend.

Re: Plasti-Dip Pictures

Spray-on rubber; cheap, easier to use than paint in some respects and removeable.

I really like the look you can get with plasti sniz and how you can just peel it away, but my question is has anyone had it on there paint for a long time then peeled it off?...wouldn't it leave a ”less sun faded” paint underneath?...
Lets say leaving an almost two tone hood?..half faded and half not?..

No. Even if you get bad overspray it will come off with a pressure washer. Plasti dip can just be peeled off. Don't get any on your clothing tho...

If you left it on for a long time, it would be less faded.

The idea is to use it kinda like vinyl more than anything else.

How long it will last the plasti dip? And is it hard to come off with pressure water?

Mine hasn't come off with numerous pressure washings. I see it lasting quite a while, besides if it comes off it'll only take me a few minutes to reapply it.
