mach 1 vinyl, plasti dipped red!

So I red dipped my front vinyl on my mach 1. Looks ok imo but not perfect. But for a 5$ can of dip and 2$ in tape it looks pretty good. Give me your thoughts! (Third pic is when wet.)

I think it looks amazing! Wow... How did you do the pinstripe? Seriously that looks like it's factory painted...

Thanks. I actually did it in 2 parts. Masked off the middle, painted, let it dry (should have given it more time to dry) then used pinstripe tape to mask off the pinstripe, then covered the freshly painted and sprayed the stripe. I had a couple of spots not quite right but from 3 ft away it looks awesome. The stuff is awesome. Cheap, easy to use and if your careful with the tape and get the tape off fast it works well.

Because if they don't like it, they can just peel it off. It's good for trying ideas and seeing if you like something.

The stuff literally just peels off. Its almost like a garbage bag when you take it off. And its stupid easy to work with. Makes it a lot of fun to mess with peoole too. Change your car up every weekend!

It is rubbery and sticks pretty good... I put it on tool handles years ago...

Holds great. Once set its like vinyl. U can wax it and everything. Its the easiest matte finish I've ever worked with.

Go pick up a can and try it. It stands up to a pressure washer. It might help to think of it like a spray on sticker that leaves no residue when you pull it off and is water proof.

Just a few in a spray can. But there is a kit that you can make almost any color you want, its a dip or roll on though. You may be able to use a paintgun and compressor...

Yeah. I'm gonna get a gallon of it and use my compressor to apray custom colors... thinking grabber blue stripes... also thinking of making stupid colors just for fun for a weekend. Green rims just to mess with ppl? Haha. All just for fun of course. Red car today, black tomorrow, orange after that etc haha. Oh and I understand you can mix glow in the dark liquid with the clear lol. Let me be clear, I know a lot of it will look stupid but for a night of fun? Why not haha!

Glow in the dark Plastidip would be sick.... And I actually saw someone with a crappy black beater and they had painted the hubcaps Kelly green... Not a good look, but entertaining

Yeah man... I mean why not? Its cheap, doesn't harm anything, peals off in a minute, and can look awesome. I'm collecting all kinds of it and experimenting. Im looking forward to making some grabber blue dip and spraying my mach one vinyl with it. I think itl look good and unique... I just used some clear under some vht nightshade to tint the side markers. Looks ok I guess. Main thing is to have fun!

How do you make stripes without being about to spray them on with the can? Do you have to buy stripes and soak them?
