Caliper paint

Should I paint my caliper lime green, midnight blue or orange ? And with what?

I would go with midnight blue. That would look sick.

I just saw a 2004 black gt with lime green. And I thought it looked pretty cool. Sounds like weird choice but actually looked great!

I just bought red and am actually waiting for the first coat to dry. The guy who showed me where the caliper paint was kept trying to talk me into doing lime green, I don't think it would look good on a red car but it might set your paint off

Yeah, go with green. IMO the blue would blend with your paint and the lime green would pop out

I vote for green, it'll give a nice contrast.

That's what I wanted and that's what the box and the sales guy said my kit was and it looked medium dark when I opened the can and when I put the first coat on it looked right but when I put on the second coat it was bright red. Ah, it'll look good when I put the black on the 'Cobra' but I wanted a blood color

Re: Caliper paint

I have a white GT Convertible with Red stripes, doing a matching red caliper paint tomorrow. I bought the G2 kit, (G2 Brake Caliper Paint Systems) no idea if its any good or not, but read a bunch about it, and THEY claim some amazing info.

Photos and new thread tomorrow!

Re: Caliper paint

G2USA.com all done, went well, seemed to bond nicely, PLENTY of paint, don't bother with a larger kit, I will post a new thread when its all dry!
