G2 Caliper paint, my experience

Well, we had favorable weather yesterday and I took the wheels off (one at a time) and painted my calipers.

I searched high and low for "the best" paint offering and came up with this G2USA.com system.

They make incredible promises and my experience (after one day) was thus far very good.

I mixed the paint and activator, wire brushed and cleaned the caliper (with the supplied Gunk foamy engine bright). After it dripped for a few, I used an air line to blow off any left over schmutz.

I painted the calipers and one coat seemed to do the trick.

I did one wheel at a time and it took about two to three hours.

I let it dry for 24 hours (like they say) and took it for a car wash. I am actually happy with the results, I think the color is off (by quite a bit) but overall, the finish os amazing.

Re: G2 Caliper paint, my experience

the reason it prolly looks off as far as the color, is because when you look at your stripes, you have red on white, when your lookin at the calipers, everything in sight is black

looks sick as hell anyways!
