How thick to go for stripes?

I am planning on having stripes put on my car this week and am unsure how wide to go. Also how much space between the stripes?

That's cool. I was thinking 8" with a 2" void. I have the older body style and think 10" may be too much.

I like the one big fat stripe down the middle. Looks tough.

Yeah bro that's mine. I used 1.5 inch painters tape down the middle to separate them and then just measured to the outside of the license plate inlet on the rear to find out how wide. It ended up a little over 10 inches I think. Took me about 2 or 3 hours to measure, measure again, and measure a third time just to check every little place on the car so it looked right

Very cool. It looks awesome. I wound up scrapping the project. Just couldn't get the lines crisp enough with plastidip.

You have to spray a thick final coat and tear off the tape right away at like a 45 degree angle. Lines will be razor crisp
