Huge scratch

Okay so I know it's impossible to tell from pictures. But any idea how much this would cost to fix? I'm hating myself right now because this could have been prevented. There's a deep scratch all the way down to the metal and then there is a long scratch about the length of the door above the white mustang stripe. The long scratch is deep enough to be felt with my finger nails but It's not as deep as the other one. Might be too deep to buff out. I'm freaking out right now, someone please give me a ballpark figure if worst comes to worst.

Re: Huge scratch

The lower scuff looks like it could be buffed out but that deep scratch is gonna need repainted. Best thing to do is take it to a number of different body shops and see what you can work out.

Repainted it gonna cost 500-800 easy, but they can air brush it at a fraction of the cost and since it's so low on the car nobody will notice

For the deep scratch the only was to fix it perfectly is to paint the whole door. I would say it would cost $800. I had a scratch this deep on my front bumper and it cost me $300 to repaint the bumper.

Thats it? Im looking into 3m paint protection and its $300 for the hood, 400 for front bumper.....worth it to just repaint the front bumper in a few years! Stacks..at least its black, would you dare try paint it yourself? A guy at work messed up his 2012 civic n repainted it, he didnt "add a clearcoat" yet...still looks pretty bad lol

If you're low on finances just use touch up paint until you can afford a proper fix

Hey guys, I got my car back last night. The car looks great, honestly I had a hard time looking for the spot. I had to have my face right up to the spot and look at it at the right angle to even notice it. And even then you can't really even see it. I brought it to a guy that I give a lot of business to and he didn't charge me anything. Looks awesome! I'll post pictures later on today!
