someone else told me the same thing, he said i may have had a small leak in the rear end. with out the proper amount of oil the spider gear over heated and locked up on me. so i take it that is what happen. all i know was when i sliding down the middle lane side ways and saw that big rig coming at me blaring his horn. I said t myself "well this is gonna suck"

Oh and I had a v-6 stang when I was 16 cause I couldnt afford an 8 and besides chrome rims and lo pro tires I kept her stock cause I threw all my money under the hood. Cause when a V-8 pulled up next to me at a light my sleeper gave them a suprise
you are the exact reason people hate certain mustang owners. You come across as thinking you are better than everyone else, and that because you could "afford" a cobra, you are implying that you are either a bigger mustang enthusiast, or that you simply believe you are better than the rest of the mustang community.

two very important things to consider.
1 - without the sixxers, this community would not be 1/10 of the way it is. plain and simple

2 - and most important. You are not a car god, no one will bow to you, and you are no better than the next mustang owner to come into town. Sorry, you just arent.

my last bit of input, i will have more respect for the kid/adult/elder, man woman or child who puts what they see as a vision into reality, versus the guy who plays the "i have more money than you bc my car says so"

I would say do us all a favor, but others will stand up for themselves, so just do me one favor, just one for yourself really, get off of whatever high horse you think your on, and welcome to ME. The site where even the sixxers have the respect of us all.

end rant

Cant agree more, I dont care the year, make, model, color, or body style. If someone puts the time and effort into it, i can appreciate that. People talk loads of crap, but that usually doesn't bother me. All you can do is laugh at their arrogance, and move onto the next one. Btw, that supercharged GT sounds like a dream. I think most people strive for something like that, and it's also good to see someone with that set-up still can appreciate the lower models. I type all of this, as my neighbor rips down the street in his yellow GT. btw, where in Illinoiz are you located? Noticed in your profile.

Copying a gt is the bumpers and scoops. Copying a cobra r is the same deal BUT the cobra r bumper I'm going to use is modeled after the 2000 cobra r NOT the 95... So technically I'm not copying the ACTUAL cobra r of my year.

---------- Post added at 02:00 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:55 PM ----------

Or any for that matter cause they didn't paint a cobra or the r model dark tourmaline metallic and they didn't use the same style on the 95 as the 00. It's called customizing. Cause when I get done it's not going to be the same as the pic posted cause your not gonna see the lines where it bolts on, it's going to have mesh in the grilles also with plumbing behind to make it a ram air system sooo....
