3in Cowl hood

So I was on American muscle last night, and have been interested in possibly getting a different hood for my GT, to kinda stand apart from the rest in my area. I came across their 3in cowl hood which from what I saw on some customer photos looks amazing. Just wanted to get some feedback on what ya guys would think if I decided to get the hood.

Yea I'm thinking in gonna! Cowl hoods always look good on the ol'foxs!! Can go wrong with a nice cosmetic upgrade especially when it set you apart from the crowd and the aggressive look it gives is amazing!

I'm saving for the cervini concept hood with ram air. Big fan of that one. Haven't seen too many cowl hoods on s197s.

Any idea what it would cost to get it painted?

To each is own if that works for him that's cool...ima stick with the 3in cowl though, flows nice with the body of the S197's.

Mine has the 3" cowl induction but it came like that. It will lighten it up compared to your stock hood or at least mine is a lot lighter. I would strongly suggest hood pins.

All aftermarket hoods are heavier then stock unless it's carbon fiber, for the S197 at least

Fiberglass hoods are lighter.

Re: 3in Cowl hood

It's an awesome hood! If u do get it make sure you get hood pins. If not you will be dealing with a cracked windshield at least. I'll post a pic of underneath the hood tomorrow. It's too dark.
