New Center Console

Hello guys I have a 1997 Mustang GT, and just installed a 2004 Mustang center console. I absolutely hated the ashtray console.

Re: New Center Console

Congrats on the console conversion. I have a 06 and hate my console. thinking about using my old one as a template and fabricating a custom one from wood then cover it. I don't know just throw in ideas out there

Re: New Center Console

Thanks. I hate the storage compartment, it gets in the way of shifting, and maybe do away with the cup holders since I don't drink anything in my car and don't like throwing loose change in it. Maybe just smooth it out and cover or plasti dip it?

U could cover it and smooth it out with fiber glass. I think it would be sweet.
