console painting help

how do you remove the panel around the vents A/C controls and stereo head unit? the whole thing...so i can repaint it. thanks

Most of it all just pops out of place. Ply them with a flat head.

No it doesn't just "pop out" these parts are fragile!!! Remove the bezel around the shift knob which pops out. Then pull your radio out and behind is a screw that is connected to the firewall of your car... Then there lS 2 screws facing up under the bottom of bezel around ac controls below it... It should then slip right out

Sorry I mis read. I was referring to the vents on the sides and the door pieces. Most people usually paint those too

Depends on what year you own 99 00 are different then the 02 03 nor shure about 01 but my friends has a 200 and I installed a system for him cuz I installed the one in my 03 and I thought it would be a piece if cake but in the middle from the vents down to his shifter most of it was different

I did the same thing I painted mine red I got a 95 there's two screws on the bottom then take a coat hanger make to u shapes and stick them in the holes of the radio... And you should be able to pry it out then there is one more screw on the firewall... Before your do this you have to take the bezel around your shift knob off which pops right out of place...

Ya they are pretty much the same 99 00 idk why they designed it like that it was a pain but my 03 I can take anything interior to exterior off and be able to put it back together with almost no prob
