Yeah I was with a supposedly wash/wax combo. Talking about it makes me want to go wash again even though I washed 6 hours ago

Normally twice a week and wax every 8th wash. So wax about once a month. Gotta be fresh!

Re: How often do you wash your stang?

i use to wash the car once a month and spray detail every week, but after trying out meguiars wash & wax anywhere i'm gonna change that up a bit lol....i have to say i wiped off the car a week ago with this stuff...since then it's rained, and my car doesn't sit in a garage. here's from today and still looking great with no wiping down at all since the initial wash

I use the same stuff, but I use it every Friday or Saturday, depending on a couple things and then use the turtle wax black detailer to really shine it up, but I've waxed past cars twice a year, we'll see with this one, it has some bad swirl marks from a bad high speed buff.

Re: How often do you wash your stang?

Wash mine by hand once a week, I've already sealed the paint with Jetseal 109 so after a wash I use V7, a detailer-sealer spray. Dust hardly sticks to it & I could probably stretch the wash to every 2 weeks but I'm anal about keeping the stang clean.

I feel the same way, my cars are the only thing I OCD over, people will tell me that my car is still clean and I'm like it is dirty as hell, the chrome wheels aren't looking like a mirror anymore, not acceptable.

Re: How often do you wash your stang?

Its pricey @ $38.95 from Chemical Guys but it goes on & off nicely after a good prep of the paint. Paint Sealant JetSeal 109Auto Detailing Resin Paint Sealant/Protectant JetSeal 109

Mine only comes out of the garage 2-3 times a week. So it stays really clean. If it gets a light dust, I'll use one of those car dusters. They have worked good for me, for many years, on many different cars.
So for me every 3-4 weeks

I was my baby once a week. I use the detailer after every wash. Then wax about every two months. I plan to use the clay bar once a year, unless there is something on her I can see.

I wash mine every Friday. I work at a cabinet shop and the parking lot is gravel and dust. I detail after every wash. Detail the inside every two weeks. And use turtle wax polish every month. Full on waxing by hand every two months since Every time you wash you take away a little wax.

I use the new Meguiar's NXT 2.0 wax. Works awesome and is an easy application. Leaves a mirror finish. Also, it lasts a long time. Make sure you use only 1 cloth though. 1 that only for your car. They sell buffing and polishing rags just for waxing.
