I'm very interested, I guess someone will have to try it out and let us know. It looks good on their website. And I see the ads for it in R&T etc.

Re: Has anybody used Dr. ColorChip

I just watched the videos on this and I'm interested now. If I wasn't out of work at the moment I would be the guinea pig. I've got a few chips it would work great on.

I have many the front, mostly small. But I have this big MF'er on my fender that is just itching for a blotch of something to make it look better.

Yea get that stuff or at least put some clear nail polish on it. I neglected two spots on my hood about 6 months ago and it turned into peeling paint the size of quarters!!! I had the hood repainted and one rock chip just turned up so I need to get this stuff.

i got a new chip today. I'm not sure how, but I'm guessing they are just going to keep showing up since it's my daily driver. I need to quit stalling and just buy it.

Attachment 74805

i'm interested to find out if you can use the stuff at any temperature above freezing, or will it require 50 or 60...?

So I actually tried it...

Came out pretty good...

A few deep but small chips.

it didn't fill the chip (I probably didn't use a big enough dab of paint), but the end result is clean looking around it... Unlike using a paint touch up pen/applicator. .

You can't even see it unless you know exactly where to look for the depression. The chips were so obvious before (stood out like white dots on black car)... Now nothin'!!

Comes with a boatload of paint and blend in chemical. No hazing either, that seems to be the issue when some people use to big of a blob of paint.

It was 85 degrees and 90% humidity when I did it.

Very nice! On a scale of 1-10 (10 being perfect like a professional touch up) How does this compare?

they are still noticable just even with the paint and color is usually good. its not perfect but it will look better overall vs dabbing paint on through normal touch up pens

Spector v is dead on.

Better than dabbing paint...

But not like a pro fixing it (filling in the chip).

Again, the chips were so noticeable on a black car... Now you have to look really hard to see them.

I'd say out of 10, I'd give it an 8or 9.

Super easy and fast... Paint was exact match (not hard with black).

And like I said before... Enough to do a thousand chips!!

I'm happy.
