I got painted stripes for 200 at a local maaco(I know such a bad name lol) but my whole car was repaired and painted there and it's great looking. I love it. They do my moms company's whole fleet of cars. It's very trusted.

The window sticker on my Roush said the tape stripes were a $400 dollar option. Recently I went to a reputable hot rod shop and they wanted to charge $4000 for painted stripes! I really dislike my vinyl ones tbh I've had about one chip in them per every 2k highway miles and they don't hold up well to sun exposure at all. Good luck striping your ride man hope you find a good deal.

Vinyl. I'd like painted but I want flat black and it is hard to keep clean since so exposed.

Those are some nice stripes, vinyl and paint. Myself, I like the full black look, but I have to say that some of those have me tempted. Though, I don't think I will it's great to have some prices listed and posted.

Is vinyl better if you have a covered garage or parking area? I understand it won't last as well in the direct light but that the paint option is much better if you want the stripes to really last without fading. This true?

What color are they? If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay per rim and where did you buy them?

Graphite and I believe they were $600 each for the 9" and $620 for the 10.5". Whole package wheels and tires set me back ~$3,200.

Here is what I did. I bought the Mustang 6 months ago and there was a nasty rock chip in front of the scoop that I simply could not make look good. Well I was in Autozone and for $20 they had this stripe and I thought what the heck I will just cover up the chip. I didn't run the stripe full length of the hood cause I wanted to how this would look.

ID:	73873 I think the roll has 30' to it so I thought If i don't like it i can always remove it and do it again. Since then I have seen some 3M carbon fiber stripes that will look better and I will run the stripe the entire length of the hood. I really enjoy doing stuff like this. You never know what will look good.

Hey Delta, should I be jealous of your garage?

From the background in those photos I think I should be. Should I?

I think you should! We lucked out when we bought this house 6 years ago. The garage is insulated, drywalled, and has it's own furnace. The previous owner turned it into a "party garage". Fridge with a keg of beer, cable tv,stereo speakers wired in. Like I said we lucked out. Hope the pictures turn out.Click image for larger version
