whole car cut and clear?

My car is starting to look tired. Lots of small scratches that don't show unless the light is right, and now oxidation of the clear is showing up in the form of terrible looking specks. Big question is can a body shop remove my clear and reapply a new coat? I don't want to cough up the dough for a new comp. orange paint job..

Try rubbing compound on the whole car. Follow that with polish compound. Follow that with a rubbing wax instead of a spray wax. Then wash it and throw on a spray wax.

That will only cost you a day and a 100 bucks instead of a week and a 1000.

I have tried mcguire's(sp) polishing compound on certain spots, to no avail. Is there a better product for me to try? I'm good on mechanical stuff, still fresh to body and detailing.

Send a message via AIM to SpectorV
let a prof. detailer take a look, they can buff and cut the clear down and do some amazing things.
