Smoked taillights or covers?

Which one is better? I know the covers are darker but how well do they stay on, at highway speeds? Which one in you guys opinions look better?

I was going to get them cause I hav the headlight covers. But I hav heard they can fall of on the highway and u hav to use alot more tape to keep them on. So I bought some smoked tails of craigslist for 40 bucks.

Yeah I am thinking of going with the smoked tail lights just so I don't have to worry about them falling off. I am looking for dark smoked light tho, any suggestions of where to buy?

Don't spent money on those. You can either tint them with film which I have done every time and super easy or vht them with nightshade

+1... I think cops are annoying too, but you got ticketed for something way over the legal limit of tint.

People like you give police a bad name. Hopefully your daddy will grow a pair and have you take responsibility for your actions at some point. No one should be above the law.

As for the tail light cover I wouldn't do those!.. The look cheap!.. Go with the tinted tails!..

He's always like that, he acts like a angel. I'm sure he has done his fair share of illegal things, if he is that worried about the law he should become a cop an dedicate his time to enforcing the law until then his onion doesn't matter.
Don't feel like you did anything wrong he does this on almost every thread.

Back to the original post, I would just go smoked headlights. I like how the covers look but I wouldn't want to have to tape them to my headlights then take them off seems like to much to me. I had some stock mustang headlights that I tinted myself just bought some tint and did them but the Louisiana sun got them and started peeling I bought this pair off amazon.com for $65 with free shipping.

On topic, the vinyl tint is actually pretty tough, have had it on one of the cars for several years.

I normally recommend the removable covers for headlights so you don't lose night vision.

Auto zone stores like that, now this will make them a kinda dull black compared to tint that will make it a gloss black. I did my tail lights on my truck with it I used about 2-3 coats per light came out nice but was a flat black look. My mustang is has tint on them and its more of a gloss black. Alot of people say put a clear on the spray stuff but I find its still a flat black. He's some pics my red f150 was the Spay and my mustang is the tint just to show you the difference.

Can't you just buy tinted taillights that aren't the clients?

Wait... So did you get a ticket for the tint, or was it "fixed"? Because you said you've never had a ticket fixed.
