REAL carbon fiber parts are made and used on cars for its strength and lighter weight. FAKE carbon fiber anything on your car, inside or out looks RICE. You're actually sticky taping on fake stuff on top of real trim and adding weight....which is just stupid if you're going for that "lighter weight racer look"
And those that know....laugh.
Those that don't.... Don't know anything about cars anyway.
Real carbon fiber parts are expensive. When you put obviously fake tape on stuff on your car, it's like wearing fake gold jewelry....those that know jewelry and would appreciate it...know it's fake.
