So I ordered an overlay for the 5.0 on the side of my car. I meant to order the carbon fiber one, but accidentally received the matte black one. I've been trying to give my car the "blacked out" look, so I thought making that mistake wasn't bad after all. My boyfriend is having a fit saying that I should leave it the way it is, it stands out better. What do you guys think? Original or Matte Black?
If you black out the 5.0 you won't stop there. You will want to black out the rest of the Pony. It's an addiction, it sucks to have it. LOL I think if you use these overlays and decide that you like the 5.0 black you need to go ahead and paint them.
I have the kona blue with gloss black 5.0 badges and like everyone's saying it doesn't stand out like the stock ones do but i love the way it looks. it is n addiction though that was the first black thing I did and it goes on and on
Hey thanks! Planned to do it with rattle can grabber blue, but I got dinged by a lady and so just had my body guy do it when the car was in. Still trying to find something for the rattle can. Im thinking coil covers this weekend.
Lol that sucks though i would blame it on shipping for sure but when you do get a new hood are you still staying with carbon fiber. It looks bada$$ it reminds me of a super car
I don't know. The cf hood by trufiber is $1,500! Siebon's is fiberglass and is only $700. It sucks because I can't do anything with this one. I had it over a month before installing it so I'm stuck with it and nobody is interested in buying it locally because it won't fit right.
