Day 25 of mustang make over

Well the make over is complete. Sorry it was dark when I finished and it started raining, so I only have a couple pictures. I will take lots of pictures and post when it not raining and day light.
Thanks for all the compliments so far, you guys are very kind.

Rained all day so no new pics. I really want to see it with speedster cover and style bar too.

It is not coming out in the rain for the first time after the make over, just not going to do it.......

Lol. That's love brother. Great to see how close you are to him. I have 2 brothers, we live a little way away from them both. One in morristown, the other in Harlan ky. I'd be there for both in a second. Awesome to see y'all are close.

If you are talking just material it took to paint it, right at 1300.00. I did not choose the cheap paint to do this. Sand paper pre cleaner primer thinner, paint reducer, paint, clear, hardner for clear, tack cloths and rubbing compound and polish.

Not a fan of cheap paint. That's pretty close to what I was thinkin. I have only worked with PPG. my father in law did restorations for a little over 30 years. That's all he used. It's expensive to do it right but it lasts. It's one of those things where you get what you pay for. Sure turned out amazing.

The paint was Diamont and it was 437.00 and that was a special price for one gallon. Two other stores priced it a little over 600.00 a gallon.

Usually if u get a lint, it'll be outrageous then a quart is high, a half gallon will usually cost 50 dollars more than the total price of a gallon. Like I a gallon was 600, a half gallon would be 350. Not 300 since it was exactly half a gallon lol. It was like the more you buy, the less it costs. I got a discount here from the local Carquest.

I used almost 1 whole gallon. Only had about a pint left. Yes it is cheaper to buy a gallon by a bunch. It was like 187.00 a quart.
