VHT Nightshades hints and tips

Hey guys, I want to tint my tail lights but I've heard and read horror stories about ruining them.

I know a lot of y'all have tinted yours and I want to know the do's and don'ts about using it.

Thanks!

I did mine, i even did a hack job and they turned out fantastic.

1. Wetsand (1500-2k grit)
2. Spray 2 light coats
3. Wetsand (1500-2k grit)
4. 2-3 more coats (depending on how dark you want it)
5. Wetsand (1500-2k grit)
6. Polish (I used Meg's Scratch X 2.0)
7. Clear (Optional)

Do this ^ if you want professional results ^

I just cleaned them off, sprayed 4 coats (wish i would have done 5, but i'm still very very happy) and then used the Polish on them and they turned out amazing. I polished the **** out of them and they did lighten up quite a bit, so don't overestimate how dark they will get.

We were able to do my tail lights, 3rd brake, headlights, corvettes's 4 tails, 3rd brake, and side markers all with some left in the same can.
