YES all waxes can go bad if exposed to extreme heat or cold, or simply by age. They can also be spoiled by containments . If you think it is bad, I would suggest not using it. I think this would apply to liquid or paste.

Took me about 4 hours. Wash, dry, wait dry, wash, wait, dry, sweep down all water possible off, wax, then finally stuck her in garage for a hour. Then bring her out, all beautiful.

She looks awesome....I finish a full detail on mine in less than hour using only Croftgate products which are all wipe on wipe off...no water. PM me if you would like to know more.
