Plasti dipping

Well, today I'm trying to plasti dip parts of my cars, with my first attempt being a fail lol. I need any, and all advice

As of the hood stripe. Do like the Mach 1 has it don't go all the way down to the end of the hood. Looks better like that.

+1 same here... I dipped it, really liked it, so emailed a decal shop to have a custom made vinyl decal made and a week later I ripped the dip off and on with the vinyl

So what, curve up 2-3 inches before the end?
Check out what the Mach 1 stripe looks like and try that. It'll be pretty difficult to replicate it by using tape to make those curves in it but it looks better than going all the way down to the end.

plasti dip works best in warm wheather. but it starts looking textured but after a few days ends up looking better

Yea, it looks good but it'd be a pain to do with tape like you said

When I did it was 74. But it was pretty windy. Could that have caused it?

Yes wind doesn't help. If you're in a garage with no wind then you don't have to spray as close. You want to stay back a way so it sprays on even and not globs.
