Tail lights need some help !

Okay so I tinted my tail lights. They aren't that dark but I'm kinda scared somebody might rear end me during the day time. I need help on making my lights brighter. I don't want to sand them and make them lighter I like them how they are. I was wondering was the brightest bulbs I could put in my tail lights are. Should I use LEDs ? Or higher watt bulbs? Is there's any specific brands I should buy? Please help. I want them to be dark until

I'll tell you now, mine are much darker than yours and they are plenty bright enought for people to tell that i am on my brakes.

heres a pic of mine during the day (lights aren't on)

and this is in a parking deck the same day (also during the day)

And all I have are the stock bulbs in it.

Shouldnt.

Either way start slowing down sooner to give them a heads up. Either way a rear end collision is their fault

I don't know how you "illegally" tinted your tail lights, but as long as its noticable during the day you should be fine, if you really are worried about it still have a buddy follow you and ask him how it looks.

But no, I don't think you'll have a problem at all, and if you still want them to be brighter but want to keep the tinted look, get LED bulbs to put in there, they are much brighter than the stock or even the Silvania ones you can find at walmart etc

States have different laws regarding tint and how transparent it must be.

+1

This is what I was saying, I don't know what the laws are for your state.

I dont see any issue if you can see your taillights at night and always your brake lights

With that being said brake lights are brighter so you should be just fine.
