Any ideas or products?! It is driving me nuts! Oh and im sure this has been asked a billion times but im on my phone and have no way to search the forums.

Water spots are my biggest pet peeve. I always keep a microfiber cloth handy and wipe until they are gone. Just a little water and buffed dry will bring them right off.

There are two products one by Meguiars and one by mothers that are made just for that. I used the meguiars and it works great.

Mothers does in fact make a water spot remover and works very good. In the past I always covered my glass with CG sealant..and cleaned with invisible glass. Now I use Croftgate Aquanil x and Quick n Slick to coat the glass...and always carry a bottle of invisible glass cleaner with me at all times....and a clean MF towel.

I just bought some invisible glass yesterday. It has just been raining here so I havent tried it yet. Where can I find this other stuff? Auto parts store or do I need to order it online?

As far as Croftgate products....I am a rep for them located in NW Illinois and if you want info...PM me and I can supply you with our line up.

As far as Mothers, Meg's, etc....I would suggest checking out Autogeek.net they have all over the counter products and high end products also. Or you can check the local stores in your area....Walmart,Kmart...etc.

I use vinegar for a lot of things! It makes a good laundry softner instead of using downy. Fyi guys lol. :p thanks everyone for the inputs! I already tried a cleaner that has vinegar in it that works well on glass but not on water spots. :/

Left without pinnacle water spot remover. Right with it. You can SEE the difference. It may be more expensive but steel wool is far from the ONLY thing that works on water spots...

I use the Rain-X window cleaner with a microfiber, but newspaper, coffee filters, all work as well.

If they're on there from hard water they won't come off unless you use a polish, or clay the window

To help in the future RainX or Aquapel and avoid products with Ammonia.

My favorite glass cleaner is SprayWay it's what my tint guys recommend as well.

Agreed. Hard water spots can be a pita. The pinnacle water spot remover with a light cutting pad works wonders

You got some HARD *** water.where you live mustangchassy, lol. When you wax your car do you wax the windows as well? I do, the water seams to bead easier, maybe the coating of wax helps with spots. Sorry its not workin : (

I will offer another suggestion....I have had success with Meg's 105/205 done by hand and not by machine on removing stubborn water spots or Mothers Hard water spot remover. I think someone also mentioned very fine steel wool. The only problem is Meg's 105/205 comes in large bottles and not found in your typical stores, but you can get it on Autogeek.net. I would try the least aggressive which is the 205 before stepping up to 105.

With respect to what others have said...I also treat all my glass to help shed water from sitting on the car and prevent the sun magnifying the water and etching te glass or paint. I understand how much this bothers you as most of us have a bit of OCD about our Stangs.

I hope you can resolve this and if I can be of any assistance with my Croftgate products...please do let me know and I will help protect your baby.
