Cobra front bumper need help

Hey everyone been a while since I posted (broken phone) but I was looking hard into getting the 03/04 termi front bumper but I have seen mixed reviews some saying I need the termi hood and most people saying you don't so if anyone has any input it would help out a lot. Thanks

Would it work if I cranked my hood adjusters just enough or would that not work

the 03/04 cobra hood is a bit different in the area that goes up by the headlights (the points) it is a bit higher than the OEM v6/gt bumper (about an inch or so taller).

You can look at the V6/GT version and see its flat at the top where the push pin goes but on the 03/04 its not flat it has an indentation.

The OEM hood will rub a bit here and ive seen it happen. Some modify it to work~ or you can get an 03/04 cobra hood

as you said you may can adjust the hood adjusters but then the hood will not line up with the fenders

I have a termi bumper with a stock hood. All you have to do is change where the top of the bumper mounts. Drill holes about a half inch back on the headlight pannel and it moves the top of the bumper back so your hood doesn't rub. I'll try to find some pics to explain this

Here you go. The third pic shows where my first cobra bumper rubbed my hood. In the last pic, the further back hole allows the bumper to be just that much lower so it won't rub, hope this helps
