Painted Valve Covers

These turned out really nice, I'm hoping that the Krylon Paint for Plastic holds up to the car wash. They look like the blue ones from the factory only $130 cheaper.

Can you pretty much pop those off and on? It looks really good by the way! It'd be awesome if you had taped off the "Powered By Ford" and made it a different color!

They just pop off yes. Passenger side removal is a little easier if you remove the intake cover. And I used the Krylon Paint for Plastic. I'd recommend getting that.

How well will krylon hold up to heat though. Engine enamel is safer...

Yeah...... I copied. Lol. I should have sanded the chrome and taped it off though. But I can always redo it I guess. I just didn't have the patience this go around.

I did mine about a month ago. I did sand the Chrome on all the pieces. I also used VHT ford red engine enamel and clear coat.
