Looking to go from chrome to black since my car has nothing else is chrome I prefer A shiny look to it over a matte black finish ...also heard certain paint will burn! Heard something about vht engine paint being well.. But I'm Hoping you guys can lead me to the right paint! Thanks in advance!!!
could always try a good brake caliper paint like G2. It's good for up to 500 Degrees I think...or try the engine paint like you said. Best bet would be to get them powder coated/clear coated, that will work the best and stick the best and won't chip off. My brother has powder coated headers and I'm sure if headers can keep the shiny red finish he did on them without chipping or burning, the tips can handle it.
Ooooo never thought about powder coating them ..... I'm gunna go ahead an visit a couple shops and see their quotes thanks or heads up my man
