2013-14 Parts ?

It doesn't seem like there's a whole lot in the way of exterior parts yet for the '13 body style. Limited options for appearance mods, like chin spoilers, grilles and hoods. Do you think more options will appear over time?

I haven't done anything to my car yet appearance wise because I'm not really sold on anything yet. Chin spoiler or ground effect options suck. Other than a ram air hood, there's not much in that department either. A cowled hood would look awesome on this car. I wish there was a better grille option that retains the fog lights but ditches the honey comb. The billet grille from AM just looks weird. Anyone else feel like there's a lack of aftermarket parts for this style?

There are not many options, but there is alot so far, especially for it being 2013. I don't think you'll ever see too many grills that retain the fogs that are not honey comb. I really like most of the CDC and roush components. Trufiber has a good amount of carbon fiber as well specifically for the 2013. I'm not sure that you'll see much more than you see now for the 13-14. I'm sure everyone will be focusing on the 15 soon.

Yup, 15 is coming out. But it looks like it's gona be a disappointment. It's like Windows Vista replaced XP, which was a disaster for Microsoft

Agreed. I'm not thrilled about what I've seen and heard about the '15s. But it would make sense that Ford would screw it up, just look at the Mustangs history. Almost a decade and a half of hideous boxes labeled Mustangs.

Are you talking about the fox bodies?

So what you mean is you don't like mustangs but rather you just like your car. Fox bodies redefined pony cars and are the trademark of a decade and a half of muscle cars.

And your car is a direct evolution of the 05-09 mustang.

Not at all man! I just think 80's and 90's were terrible for ALL cars. They were all ugly. I'd still take a Mustang in those years over any other car. My favorite Mustangs are 66-73 though. I do like the '89 Fox body too. The '00-'04 stangs were nice, owned a '00 GT. I don't mind the 05-09's as they were more retro to the 60's style, but 2011 is the year that I felt Ford took the Mustang to where it should be.

The 90's were a great time for cars IMO. There are still very few cars cooler than a 93 Cobra. Then you had the Z28, WS6 Trans Am, VR4 3000GT, the twin turbo 300z and Supras. The only thing I didn't enjoy about cars in the 90's was that the Mustang GT was the performance dog of the group off the showroom floor by the time the 4.6 came out. My buddy had a 1996 Z28, and it wasn't even a fair race against my 96 GT. Times have thankfully changed though.
