Tail lights

Does anyone know how to make my 2012 tail lights light up like the ones on this video?

If you stop the video at 0:52, you can see that the tail lights light up differently than regular tail lights. They almost light up as if they were 2013 tail lights. Unless I'm going crazy and I'm seeing things.

If you're talking about how the center of the lights are dimmer than the rest of the light, it's because the '10-'12 tail lights have reflectors inside them so that they are DOT/SAE certified. The reflectors don't let as much light through it but it's hard to notice that in person. A camera can pick up on the difference in brightness much better which is why it's so easy to see in the video.

Damn I was kind of hoping it was an aftermarket mod I could do. I really like the 13-14 tail lights but I'm not trading my car just for that. Oh well it was worth a shot. Thanks for the info bro.

You can always combine these two and it'll give you the 2013+ tail light look. There's a Shelby in the AM customer photos that did it and it looks sick. Definitely a good alternative until they come out with an actual '13+ style assembly.
