Nice like the creativity I'm the same way if I can make the same result but better priced and more efficient I go for it. Here's some led lighting I did in my trunk.

Plan on led lighting the undercarriage and music interface lighting the interior. Got a nice design in mind. Post pics when I'm don't.

I hard wires the LED strip wires right into the trunk lid light switch under the plastics cover and ran the wires throughout he black tube that goes from that lid area to the trunk. Came out real clean. No issues

Looks sweet. I like the blue a lot.
I'm saving the cash to change my carpet to black and a rear delete kit. Just got a music interface in the mail I ordered. I'm installing green LED strips under my dash and seats to beat to the music. I'm mad excited to get it done. Just need to get my carpet changed first.
Anyways looks dope bro. By the way, You hook the lights up to the lid switch??

For my truck I tapped into the trunk lid switch that controls the light when you open your trunk.

That looks really sharp. Did you just splice into the tail lights?

No into the switch that turns on and off the trunk lid light. The wires are hidden by the plastic cover. I spiced between the lid light and the switch as if the LED where the lid light. Then I pulled the factory bulb out. To delete the white light
