They look good, I personally would never get non functioning body panels or louvers unless I was building my car to be a show car.

It's more for fuel economy, but I suspect the lip on the trunk lid would help reduce drag enough to make a positive impact on your mpgs. Wings create downforce at high speeds. Our spoilers are there just for looks

Don't know if it means anything but my car is spoiler less and I average 22mpg. I got 27 on a 350 mile trip all highway once with cruise set at 67mph

build your car the way you want, who cares what others think, the only one that matters is YOU....if you build it according to what everyone else thinks looks good you will be very confused and you wont b happy with it

LOL, it is actually my son's car that we have been building. He loves them, I am not a huge fan of them. He is taking the '13 off to school and I get to tend to the '65 here at home until he graduates and gets a stable of his own.
Here is a side on pic

I'm not a fan of them personally. I've had to look out of that 1/4 window several times while backing up. Some of the styles look good, I'm just not going to run them.

I'm not a fan of carbon fiber but they look very good on your son's car.

Pics of the 65 please! Hopefully your 65 is closer to being done than my 66...

Looks even better from a side view. Love the stance too. What springs and dampeners are you running?

It has been done...was his daily driver for the last 3yrs.
I can post a lot of pics of his '65. It was his first car. We bought a coupe and stripped it to bare metal, and re-built it exactly like he wanted it. It is a blast to drive too. It has a 302 crate motor that cranks out 345hp.

Really??? Thats only a 1" drop??? It looks like a lot more.... Atleast from that angle. I have mine dropped 1.5" with 19's and mine doesn't sit anywhere near that low.. Especially in the rear. What size tires?

We got the red Eibach springs with the kit, so it lowers it 1.25" & 1.5". We added the Eibach adjustable panhard bar too. The one down side to lowering it that much tho: We had to take the cat-back 3" pipe on the driver side and have a slight adjustment made over the axle. It had less than 1/4" clearance over the diff when we finished.
The Pirelli's are: 255/40ZR19

This car does NOT like speed bumps

Just got quite a bit more CF in this week for the car. The install is going to have to wait until my son drives the car back from school. It will be some big changes: Boss manifold, BBK 90mm TB, Ford Racing Coil Covers, TruCarbon Radiator cover, fuse box cover, Mast Cyl & Batt cover. Pretty much will be done with mods for this car. Going to also switch to a MPT tune once we do the boss mani swap. I bought a boss strut brace and wrapped it in carbon fiber. I have a Lethal Off Road X pipe but after viewing the couple of videos with this ORX and the Magnaflow Competition Cat back system, it will be loud. Maybe too loud! I did unbelievably find an OEM pair of GT500 quad tip axle backs off a '13 GT500 for $60! I bought them in a heartbeat and I am considering doing the switch to the quad tip if the ORX is too loud with the current Magnaflow mufflers. I would keep the axle back pipes so it would be on ORX pipe, resinator delete with Gt500 quad tips. The engine bay will look better when done than the exterior of the car. My side of the garage looks like a parts warehouse. Wife is NOT impressed LOL.

I had Eleanor style louvers for American Muscle. They were on for about a year and then I took them off. The other day, I was riding behind my buddy's 5.0 with the same louvers. I realized how ridiculous they look. I was then very glad I took them off.
