Painting front bumper

How much should I expect to pay to get my front bumper repainted black on my 03 GT, it's chipped up pretty bad on the bottom lip

Dang, that's crazy, we got my brothers 99 painted for 700. But it doesn't have clear, it's that paint that has the clear mixed in I guess? Don't really know but I asked if they were gonna clear it but they said its all mixed together. Still looks really good but I can't buff it when I detail it

I got a new bumper for my 05 V6, and it was $522 total. The bumper was only $106, the rest was paint and labor. Remember, if they have to sand your bumper, that's labor hours you're paying for. Then you have paint and labor to re-paint.

Whatever you do, avoid places like MAACO or Earl Scheib. You'll pay a little less, but the quality of work is terrible.

Well I don't care for show quailty finish, so i went to autozone and got some Dupli color Perfect Match auto paint and clear coat. My bumper had 13 years worth of Florida sun, love bugs, and road debris to fade it pretty good (2000 GT). An hour of prep (sand and clean) and an hour to paint, and Ta-Da! She looked brand new!!!! A little wet sanding and polishing made it look almost new. I'm sure if I really wanted to, a few more coats and I probably woulda got it perfect. All In all, it cost me around 50 bucks. And I'm not a paint and/or body guy at all. Just my .02.

I got my cobra bumper painted to match my car color for 200. If I was quoted 700 someone would have gotten some slaps

Thanks, my next task will be the rear bumper and the side skirts. Seems like the plastic body parts fade more so than the rest. I'm waiting on a mach 1 chin spoiler and some tinted lenses for the head lights and tail lamps to show up hopefully tomorrow, to complete my blacked out look!
