Question The Battle for Slick Leather Seats

I am having quite a time getting the slick look on my 2011 Mustang's Leather Seats.

On my 1998 Mustang's grey leather seats, it was easy to make them look slick. Run over the seats with a Meguiar's Gold Class Rich Leather Spray, and we're done. The seats looked slick for about a week.

I've having a different story with my 2011's black leather seats. When I use Meguiar's Gold Class Rich Leather Spray, the seats looks slick for about 15 minutes and then start to look dull again.

Is there something different about the leather on the 2011 that I'm not aware of?
