HELP!!!!!!

Ok so I got a new bumper put on my car and inhad the body shop paint and install it....after I got the car back I noticed that he painted while it was on the car instead of just painting and installing....so now the problem is the surface of my car now fells like sand paper and makes a terrible scraping sound when I run my fingers on it...the whole car is this way exept for the new bumper....should I just clay bar it? What has caused this?

Overspray and it doesn't sound like he knows what he's doing. I would wash and dry the car first and then clay bar it. Then you're going to need to compound and polish it to bring the smooth and glossiness back. You're not gonna be able to do this by hand you'll need a machine. Porter cable 7424xp is a great machine to use. If you don't want to do this yourself take it back to the body shop and demand a refund.

Take it back to the shop and complain to the manager/owner. They'll take care of you.

So you're fixing their mistakes that you paid for? Fair enough, but at least try and get some compensation out of this.
