First time using plasti dip. Took the rims off, cleaned, taped off, had at it looks pretty good for flex-seal also introducing the new prototype the hoverstang!

FYI,
You dont HAVE to tape off the Ford logo. The plasti-dip will peel right off the emblem perfectly after it is dry. Simply rub the edge until you can grab it and start peeling. It will peel perfectly just off the logo.
I did my F150 FX4 rims that have the ford logo light that in the center.
Good job though! Looks way better

It's a cheap easy way to change looks, and comes right off. That's better than buying new wheels or stripes that cost a **** ton

I hear ya, everyone says that and it understandable. But good grief it looks cheap. When done correctly and applied enough coats it can look decent at best.

Of course it's cheap, how much does it cost? Lol oh wait, you're referring to its appearance. My mistake. It's insanely popular, no arguing that. I still think its an age thing or more p a fad that will go away eventually.

I've seen some good vents and accents that look pretty good due to their size being small in nature. However, on wheels i rarely see a good job done.

I should say I use plasti dip grip. I spray all my tools, which is a ton of tools, with the plasti dip grip and it works as intended.

IMO they look great for being a couple hours worth of work I didn't do it as permanent. I only really did them to give it a new look other than the stockers while I burn the peros off. Then get better wheels, tires and suspension. Slowly but surely she's comin along.
