It's your money, do whatever you want with it. However, I think it'd be better to do something else with the money.

You could do some cooling upgrades :p

What all do you have as far as cooling?

Oil/transmission/ brake cooling .
But I am not doing it much for the cooling as for the aerodynamic at higher speeds.

Okay, your car is strictly a track car? Right?

you do realize how a cowl hood works right? I am assuming you purchased a functional cowl hood? if so, the vents at the rear of the hood are enough to pull the hot air from the engine bay as the area above the hood is a low pressure area at speed, and the cowl opening at the back of the hood assists at pulling the hot air out. Putting those vents at the front of the cowl would do unknown things, possibly causing lift on the hood at high speeds, something you do not want at high speed.

Yes the rear vents are functional, after talking with both the louvers and hood manufacturer they both agree that it would be a great addition to the hood. At 90 or so, the air in the engine bay is so much that it actually shuts down the rear vents on the cowl and could cause lift, this is known as the umbrella effect. By placing the louvers 1 foot from the back edge of the hood it will help free up some of that air and turbulence kind of like the tiger racing hood.
And add some hood pins and 200 mph here I come lol jk
