GT500 spoiler is my preference (and install). This topic came up about 3 weeks ago. The search will give you more opinions, but no doubt others will chime in again.

Hmm i c i really like the gt/cs spoiler but at the same time i like the gt500 spoiler but when i look at both i feel that the gt500 spoiler is just a bigger version of the lip spoiler that came with my mustang decisions, desicion

Bigger version of the stock lip spoiler?!? The GT500 is quite long towards the back; much more than the stock spoiler, unless the '13's and higher had a different one.

Have you seen one up close? This would be your best way to make a choice.

If either the gtcs or gt500 were equipped with nav and rear view camera , was the wing replaced with the wing that has the flush mount camera pod or was the placement different? I'm asking, not to hijack the thread, but because I want to know if the gtcs or gt500 spoilers can be installed without losing rear deck camera.

The '11+ CS wing is a great looking pedestal spoiler and a big improvement from the 05-09 GT wing, especially if you get the factory paint style (not the pre-painted AM style i.e.). Before I got my 05-09 GT500 spoiler for my old pony, I loved the 11+ CS wing.

Now I'd only prefer the GT500 spoilers though (again, factory paint style with the gurney flap).

I've dealt with both the factory and the aftermarket CS wing along with the GT500 spoiler. The actual airfoil surface is about the same size and angle on both but the GT500 fits flush to the decklid. The GT500 is an easier install because you don't have to drill any extra holes. Personally I like the CS better. I first mounted a GT500 on my '13 and later traded decklids with a guy for a CS wing (in my opinion, that's the best way to get one).

From a distance the aftermarket and factory CS wings look the same but up close you can see big differences in construction. The factory wing is made from several pieces and the underside is black regardless of the primary color, whereas the aftermarket version is all the same color. If you are replacing a factory lip spoiler, you will have to drill four more holes to install the CS wing.

It depends what you want, in my opinion both give our cars completely different stances. I got the gt500 spoiler because its just really sleek and makes the rear end seem like less of a hippo butt.

The cs style spoiler as far as I have seen gives the cars a more muscular stance in my opinion

My 2011 GTCS convertible red candy metallic has a pedestal wing that is one piece with no black underneath--all same color. Functional? But, look's great!

I stand corrected! The red candy metallic GTCS pedestal wing spoiler is matt blk underneath. Sorry, couldnt see it in the garage--too dark.

I personally love the CS/GT spoiler. I think its in your face, without being obnoxious. And it stands out from the crowd. This spoiler also gives the the Mustang the idea and look of "Hey! I am aggressive. I can perform." I am trying to find a black one to put on the back of a 5.0.

My favorite, and the one I'll be going with:

http://m.americanmuscle.com/rtr-rear-spoiler-1012.html

It just flows better to me, plus I have a red/black theme going so it adds some contrast to the dominant red rear.

I don't like that one. It was the first one that I discarded lol. I'm getting the GT/CS spoiler. Going to have it painted either matte black or just black on the bottom all the way towards the lip, and the top red.
