Pealing clear coat?

Its not on a mustang but its all the same right? My clear coat is coming off and i was wonder if i could just spay clear over it? I would wet sand all the pealing clear off as long as the paint is screwed up ill be fine right?

It won't look professional, but you can make it look decent. You might have to sand the clear you put on.
