Car back from the shop

A couple of weeks ago a truck in front of me dropped an orange traffic cone on I-94. Traveling 70 mph and no way to avoid it, took out the lower grille, CDC-RTR chin spoiler, damaged the bumper, took out the engine splash guard, and some other things.

Before shot

Since I always thought the RTR chin was incomplete, and my paint guy agreed and already had an idea how to paint it and leave the lip to go with the side splitters, we painted the chin and went with the Roush lower grille to better match the CDC RTR Performance upper grille.

Then after getting some shots by the river I remembered when I got home that I hadn't tinted the front turn signals yet so took care of that.

I really like that grille! I'm glad that no one was injured in the accident.
And it's good to hear that a bad situation can be turned into a good one.

Thanks everyone, I was pleased with the way it turned out after painting. My wife kept saying she liked the black chin spoiler, and after I brought it home she said "you and Carl (my paint guy at Carl's Custom Concepts) were right, it looks much better painted"
