I will be straight honest with you. The shift linkage could be better and the clutch from factory sucks. Those, however have nothing to do with the transmission. Also missed shifts have a hell of a lot to do with the drivetrain in the 5.0s. The engine and transmission both torque and move back and forth, and that has everything todo with the mounts. If you change those problems and get a shorter shifter the mt-82 is just fine for these cars. They aren't meant to handle 600rwtq that some guys are tryin to put through them with big nitrous
hits and everything.
